The Timberlakes Estates Subdivision is located approximately seven miles east of Heber City Utah. It is a gated private community. Timberlakes has 1589 lots, which average approximately one acre in size. Timberlakes is one of the largest subdivisions in the Western US. Within Timberlakes there are over 700 cabins/homes. The elevation at the entrance is 6600 feet above sea level. The subdivision rises to an elevation of over 9000 feet above sea level. There are approximately 3 miles of paved road in Timberlakes and in excess of 30 miles of gravel roads. The area is wooded with the lower elevations covered with oak and in the higher elevations there are aspens and firs. There are several small lakes and ponds. Deer, moose, fox, raccoons, porcupines, squirrels, chipmunks, badgers and many varieties of birds inhabit the area. Occasionally coyotes, elk, and bear have been spotted within the subdivision.

Not all lots in Timberlakes are buildable. The development of a lot may be affected by geological hazards (such as slide areas), wetlands, streams, rivers, and lakes. Development constraints, extra costs, special studies and/or permits may be required for development of lots or portions of lots affected by the above physical characteristics and attributes. If you intend to build on your lot, check with the Wasatch County Building and Engineering Department before you buy your lot to verify that a cabin can be built on the property.
